STOP (Stonehaven Time Out for Parents) is a daytime study and fellowship group held in the church, with a pre-school creche facility.

It exists to address the needs of busy parents with day-time responsibility for children to get some ‘time out’ and be able to join together in a regular fellowship group.
It is well attended by up to a dozen mums and an increasing brood of more than twenty pre-school children.

We meet in the church between 10.15 and 12 on Thursdays and have been following studies on parenting. It is anticipated that we will progress on to more general studies in the New Year.

We recently had a retreat day, where we enjoyed times of teaching, sharing, reflection, and a walk in the beautiful countryside of Glensaugh (left).
Currently, the STOP group is studying "Bad Girls of the Bible", having recently covered Studies on Joseph (yes, the amazing tecnicolor dreamcoat guy) and David.
New members are most welcome and volunteers to help with the crèche facility (shown in the pictures below) are always appreciated.

PITSTOP is a parallel evening study and fellowship group that recently sprouted from the success of STOP. It meets weekly on Tuesday evenings between 8pm and 10pm in members’ houses around the local area. We are operating in tandem with the STOP group and using the same study material.
It is well attended by up to eight fathers on any given week, but there is always room for additional members.
