Sunday 7th June 2020 - Online Service

Welcome to the online Fetteresso Church Service - Church At Home for this week.

Just follow through the video clips for our digital service.

Just a reminder, please do look at the other parts of the Church At Home Website –

There are all sorts of interesting and useful resources and information.

Just to highlight two things

Firstly :-

The Online Church Bulletin is updated daily by Ailsa Conkey our Church Administrator so many thanks to Ailsa for this.  This has lots of interesting and relevant information so please do read that and keep yourself informed.

Secondly: -

This week we are highlighting the Work of India Village Ministries. Especially at this time, their COVID-19 Relief Work to distribute aid to those in need in the slums of Chapalli Mandal in the Krishna District.   Information on this is in the Bulletin, as is the information on how to donate to this work through

Far & Wide. We include a Video in this in this week’s Service and on our Fetteresso Home Page.

So please watch that as our good friend Suresh presents details of that ongoing ministry and vital work of the India Village ministries.

I do hope you enjoyed the Service last week led by the Moderator the Right Rev. Dr. Martin Fair

from (among other places) an Angus Forest.  This serves as a reminder that we can worship God anywhere. While I am sure we all miss gathering together in a building, the truth is that we can encounter God anywhere and everywhere.

The important thing is that we need to be on the look-out / listen out for that encounter with God.

In Fyfe’s call to worship on the 24th May Online Service he used Psalm 8 and to give it it’s full title: -

Psalm 8. For the director of music. According to gittith (a Stringed Instrument).

A psalm of David.

1 Lord, our Lord,
how majestic is your name in all the earth!

You have set your glory
    in the heavens.
2 Through the praise of children and infants
you have established a stronghold against your enemies,
to silence the foe and the avenger

Just sometimes, in Worship you come across something that completely stops you in your tracks.

Have a listen to the Fair City Singers under the Musical Directorship of Marjory Watson - singing a modern version of Love Divine. This was recorded at Fetteresso as part of the Fetteresso Festival of Music in 2018.  This is included as a Music Reflection in this week’s service and if that doesn’t stop you in your tracks nothing will.

So listen out wherever you are Worshipping today.
