We are a congregation of the Church of Scotland.
This means that we have a given geographical area within Stonehaven that we cover. This is called a Parish.
Oversight within the congregation’s life, i.e it’s ministry and mission is given to the Kirk Session. This is made of of those who are called to be Elders along with the minister.
We are part of the Presbytery of Kincardine and Deeside. Presbytery is a grouping of congregations (and Parishes) that come together to meet for oversight and governance of the wider area. Our Presbytery runs from Braemar to Maryculter, then south to Portlethen and on down to St Cyrus, also taking in the Mearns congregations.
